CO2 performance ladder

 A | Insight

We have converted our energy consumption into CO2 emissions to obtain greater insight in our CO2 emissions divided across energy flows. This will help us set effective targets. Our CO2 footprint was calculated for the first time in 2015. It is recalculated every six months and communicated both internally and externally (see C | Transparancy). See our most recent CO₂ footprint here.

B | Reduction

We have set reduction targets to bring down our CO2 emissions. We have pledged to reduce our CO2 emissions in scope 1 and 2 by 5% in 2019. We have put reduction measures in place that are assessed for their effectiveness every six months. C | Transparancy

To create commitment in the company, we regularly communicate our results to our staff and have them think through our CO2 reduction with us. We do this through newsletters, meetings and other channels at least every six months. See our most recent message.

D | Participation

We have been part of CO2 Platform Bouwend Nederland’s working group Vakgroep Grondwerk since January 2016. Apart from meeting the 3.D.1 requirement, it also allows us to share the knowledge we accumulate and to become even more motivated.
